HSMG® graphene properties

Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms which, owing to the specificity of inter-atomic bonds, demonstrates unique properties.
Graphene materials are found in two main forms: large-size graphene and flake graphene. Depending on the target application, it is necessary to choose proper graphene parameters.

NEW GRAPHENE TYPE

HSMG® metallurgical graphene is a totally new type of graphene. It stands out for higher durability and lower number of defects. The size of single grains in the layer reaches 1 mm, and the structure of graphene is continuous since the growth process minimises the formation of overlapping. As theoretical graphene, HSMG® also demonstrates semiconductor properties.

NEW PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY

HSMG® is produced by means of a method patented by AGP, consisting in the metallurgical growth on the matrix from liquid metal. This technology is implemented at AGP for mass production and it enables the use of graphene on an industrial scale. The largest obtainable graphene surface reaches the size of 100 cm x 20 cm!

MATERIAL SPECIFICATION

- Single grains with the max. size of 1 mm.
- High coverage degree and continuity (>95%).
- Quasi-monocrystal graphene.
- Surface resistivity <250 [Ω/cm2].
- Negative temperature resistance coefficient.
- Possibility of transferring to various bases.

Commercial use of graphene

Graphene may be used both for improving the properties of the already existing products and it may be used for creating new, innovative technologies. The applications are created in the following industry branches:

Construction, sensors, touch screens, electronics, composites, space industry, filtration membranes, energy storage, sports equipment... and many, many other!
